Since July, I have been working for a CIC called Here To Islington, a Islington- based micro volunteering platform that helps local people connect with local third sector organisations.
For our second birthday, me and Joanna, my collegue at Here To Islington have thought of something great: a Play In A Day, to celebrate micro volunteering in a fun way. Volunteers came to Platform, a Islington arts venue at 9am on the 31st January to devise and rehearse a play that was performed later that day at 8pm to a group of vunerable elderly people from North London befriending groups and Islington residents.
